Name: Amina (Mina) of Cranon
Race: Human
Moral Alignment: Neutral Good

Financial Status: Born upper-middle class—currently struggling to make ends meet on her own.
Special Skills: Trained as apothecary; loyal to her conscience, will, and friends; honest to a fault; but other than that doesn’t have much going for her.
Amina, raised in the providence of Cranon, was born to a well-off family, fathered by a gifted apothecary and mothered by his equal in respectability. Being a sojourner now, one might think Mina endured a troubled childhood in which her parents were either vaguely distant or brutally murdered. On the contrary, she was well taken care of and loved, receiving special companionship and constant training from her father. Under the tutelage of her father, she gained a respect and value for life, and intended to follow in his footsteps as an apothecary and physician. However, in Cranon, formal training was only available to men. With the knowledge of this, she devised a plan to leave her family and temporarily masquerade as a man so that she might attend school. Her scheme was timidly carried out for some months until her identity was discovered by one of her teachers. Catching Mina in her lie, the teacher, being a wizard, cursed her and sent her back to her family, with no knowledge of what the curse was and no claim to the knowledge she did receive there. Her family warmly welcomed her. However, upon hearing that she was cursed, her parents encouraged her to leave to discover the properties of the curse and to begin a life on her own. Now she is following those instructions, hoping to be integrated into a new society.
