Is a long life a curse? I know many, that all they want is to live a life long enough to see their children grow up, to make their fortune, or a name for themselves. But, what happens when your life is met with or tied to misfortune, does a long-life then bring misery? Does immortality eventual become a curse?
I don’t remember how many years it’s been after that faded battle, since I met my current companions each afflicted with that curse, centuries it feels like. We travel to the western continent, to where that forsaken Lich weaves his web. The words of my father on his death bed still ringing in my head, “Only by the hands of those we have forsaken will Algoroth be culled”. What this all means, I know not. Guess, only time will tell…
Personally, I’ve always thought that only by the hands of those we have forsaken will Algoroth be culled. But, I could be wrong here.
