Meave was born into a tribe of woodland elves who made their home on Mount Osprey, the mountain that casts its shadow on the trees of Ravenwood. She has spent all her life in Ravenwood and knows every clearing and hollow of its dense wilderness. Because her clansmen were known as the Protectors of the Forest, Meave was raised with a love of all that belongs to the wood. She is known as a gentle, unassuming soul but is ever ready to fight to protect the innocent inhabitants of the forest. When the recent goblin plague drove her family away, Meave remained and took up residence in town, intent on ensuring the safety of her first home. Nowadays she is known as the village peacemaker and can always be seen walking the woods among friends, ever accompanied by a few animal familiars. Meave is not without her secrets, and some townspeople have spread rumors of her hidden trove of elven gold and a half-elf son born long ago of a forbidden love affair, but the stories do not trouble Meave. When asked about them, she politely declines to answer; she prefers to turn her attention back to her beloved forest, ever watchful, ever prepared to defend it against the next attack.
